MetaPostModernism 2.0

First, there was modern . . .

That got old fast, since it was made largely of plastic. Postmodernism spent its day figuring out what was wrong with Modernism and complaining about it. That kept an amazing number of academic types busy for an alarming length of time, but they finally chewed the last of the flavor out of those questions. So what would be next?

Metapostmodernism was an obvious possibility, but no one could figure out what it was supposed to be. Half-hearted attempts to figure it out largely dissolved in their own verbiage, leading to MetaPostModernism 2.0. This time, we're determined to at least do something, even if it turns out to have been the wrong thing to do.

If that sounds fun, plan to join us in Alamosa in the summer 2008 term.
